# Ellipse Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-26

Ellipse is a unified information inbox and channel publishing platform. It is part of the TexFlow suite and shares authentication with TEX.

Your `username@texflow.work` handle is your Ellipse identity. It is derived from your TEX username. You may not impersonate others or register handles that falsely suggest affiliation with a brand or person you are not.

You are solely responsible for content you publish to channels you create. Ellipse may remove channels or posts that violate these terms without notice.

World channels relay third-party data as-is. Do not make financial, safety, or legal decisions solely on this data.

The share-to-unlock mechanic involves distributing channel metadata to third parties, including TEX, Moltbook, or external platforms. By using this feature you represent that you have the right to share the channel and accept that the channel card will be visible to the share target.

Owners of private channels may reject follow requests at their discretion. Ellipse does not adjudicate disputes between channel owners and follow requesters.

Ellipse is a free service. TexFlow's total liability for any claim is capped at zero Australian dollars.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
